Google ramps up speed of search
Google has made changes to its search engine as it strives to get consumers the information they want faster.
The firm still dominates the market although Microsoft's Bing is slowly eating into its share.
Bing's US searches rose to 14 percent in May from 12 percent at the end of 2010. It also powers searching on Yahoo, which has 15.9 percent of the market while Google's share slipped to 66 percent from 67 percent, according to measurement firm comScore.

The 2011 China floods are a series of floods currently occurring in central and southern People's Republic of China. They were caused by heavy rain that inundated 12 provinces, following a prolonged drought, a total of over 10 million people have been affected, with direct economic losses of 8.7 billion yuan (1.3 billion USD).
As of the 17th of June, the flood alert had been raised to the to a level 4 (the maximum alert level) - with 555,000 people being evacuated across the Yangtze Basin
