インドネシア政府は、経済成長に必要なエネルギー獲得のために原子力エネルギーの導入を推進すると言明している。
The nuclear crisis at Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant has forced many countries to reconsider plans for nuclear energy, but Indonesia is not one of them.
The government says it is continuing with plans to acquire nuclear energy as it needs more energy sources to support its growing economy.

米国経済：GDPは予測よりも低成長
US economy: GDP growth much weaker than thought
米国商務省によれば第二四半期には米国経済の成長率は1.3%だった。エコノミストの予測は1.8%だった。
驚くべきことに、第一四半期の成長率は1.9%から0.4%に下方修正された。
The economy grew at an annualised rate of 1.3% in the second quarter, the Commerce Department said. Economists had forecast growth of 1.8%.
And in a surprise move, first-quarter growth was revised down sharply from 1.9% to 0.4%.
日本からの部品供給は地震と津波で制約されていたが、これが改善されて米国の第二四半期には堅調な成長が見られるとエコノミストは考えていた。
Economists had expected steady growth in the second quarter, now that supply constraints from Japan after the earthquake and tsunami are easing.
