Fmr. Yankees Pitcher Hideki Irabu Found Dead in SoCal
保安官代理は水曜、伊良部の死体をビア・ベラルドの家で発見した。
詳細は発表されていないが、42歳の伊良部が首つり自殺した可能性がある。
Deputies discovered his body Wednesday at a house on Via Velardo.
Details of his death are not being released, but there are reports the 42-year old hanged himself.
伊良部は近年警察沙汰を起こしていた。
Irabu had a few run-ins with law in recent years.
伊良部は2008年に日本でビールを20杯飲んだ後、バーの管理者を暴行したとして非難された。
In 2008, he was accused of assaulting a bar manager in Japan after allegedly drinking 20 glasses of beer.
昨年はガーディナで、飲酒運転の嫌疑で逮捕された。
And just last year, he was arrested in Gardena for drunk driving.

Sony makes a loss as quake and tsunami hit production
同社によれば、この四半期で155億円の純損失が生じた。
The company reported a net loss of 15.5bn yen ($199m; £122m) for the quarter.
第一四半期の売上高は7320億円であり、前年同期比で17.9%減少。
Sony reported sales of 732bn yen during the first quarter, a 17.9% decline from the same period a year earlier.
液晶TVの価格低下は言うに及ばず、さまざまな要因が売上減につながった。
The company said various factors had contributed to the drop, not least the falling prices of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) TVs.
