アイフォンのユーザ追跡機能と１年にわたる関連データの保持に関してアップルを提訴した個人に、７月に韓国の裁判所は932ドルの損害賠償の受け取りを認めた。
その結果、2万７千人の韓国人が同じ申し立てを行い、同額の補償を求めている。
In July, a South Korean court awarded $932 in damages to a man who sued Apple over the iPhone's ability to track users' location — and store the data for up to a year. Now, around 27,000 South Koreans are making the same complaint, and seeking the same award.

国連事務総長はダマスカスに「確かな」改革を実行し、弾圧に対する国連の人権調査に完全に協力するように求めた。
人権活動家によれば、反政府活動が始まって以来、既に1800人が死亡し、数万人が逮捕されている。
The UN chief called on Damascus to introduce "credible" reforms and offer full co-operation to a UN human rights investigation into the crackdown.
At least 1,800 people have died and tens of thousands have been arrested since it began, rights activists say.
